About this event
The CITY OF LA PUENTE & HEART have partnered together to bring these much needed pet healthcare services to the community on the second Thursday of every month.
CAT owners must arrive between 9 am - 9:30 am. DOG owners must arrive between 10:00 am - 11:45 am.
Late arrivals will not be seen.
If you are bringing a cat and a dog, please arrive between 9 am - 9:45 am.
Depending on the needs of each pet, there may be a longer wait than expected, so we appreciate your patience.
Pet owners from any city are welcomed to attend; however, pet owners residing in La Puente receive specially reduced pricing!
SERVICES OFFERED: Cursory exams, vaccinations, microchipping, flea & tick control medication and other internal parasite control medication, fecal tests, anal gland expressions and nail trims (if time allows). Blood work is also offered
If your pet has ever been vaccinated in the past, please BRING YOUR VACCINE RECORDS with you to the clinic !
All dogs must be on leashes and all cats must be in secured pet carriers. (No cardboard boxes allowed). We recommend that you bring a water bowl for your pet to reduce the chance of it overheating, even if the outdoor temperature is not especially hot.
If you have a brachycephalic dog such as a Pug, Pekingese, Bull Dog, Boston Terrier, Shih Tzu, Brussels Griffon, Bullmastiff, Cane Corso, Chow Chow, Boxer, Dogue de Bordeaux, or other "flat-faced" dog, please advise our staff as soon as you arrive at the clinic . If needed, these breeds will be seen first because they can dangerously overheat rapidly from either warm temperatures or from excitement, which can pose an immediate and life-threatening danger to them. Thanks to the generous support from the City of La Puente, pet owners who reside in the INCORPORATED areas of La Puente will receive pet services at the specially reduced prices listed below!

Fecal tests are strongly recommended at least annually, especially since most parasites are easily transmittable from animals to humans and can pose a significant health risk to your pet and to your family. We care very much about the health and welfare of all pets and treat your pet as if it was our own. Our team provides compassionate and conscientious care, and we use only high quality vaccines & products.
We look forward to providing these essential services which will help keep your beloved companion healthy and help protect your family and your community from zoonotic diseases.
