Santa's Jolly Trolley Holiday Park Stops 2026

About this event

Santa's Jolly Trolley visits Dana Point parks Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., ending at the La Plaza Park tree lighting. Free.

Santa and his elves from the City of Dana Point Recreation Division ride the Jolly Trolley through town, stopping at local parks to hand out pre-packaged treats to children 12 and under and collect letters to Santa. The day wraps up at La Plaza Park with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring carolers, hot chocolate, cookies and a toy drive. It is a free, easy holiday outing for families with young kids. Local tip: write your mailing address on your child's letter so Santa can send a special reply, and pick the park stop closest to you to catch Santa in Dana Point.
